Individual Therapy

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes — whether you are balancing work, parenting, relationships, school, caregiving responsibilities, or simply trying to get through the day. Individual therapy provides a supportive and confidential space to slow things down, better understand what is happening, and develop tools that actually fit your life.

At Middlesex Therapy Centre, we understand that no two people experience stress, anxiety, burnout, relationships, or neurodivergence the same way. Therapy is individualized and collaborative, meaning we work together to create goals and approaches that fit your needs rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all approach.

FAQS

Do I need to be in crisis to start therapy?
No. Many people attend therapy because they want support before things feel unmanageable.

How often should I attend therapy?
This depends on your goals, schedule, and needs. Many people begin weekly, biweekly or monthly. We will explore this in the first session.

What if I do not know what my goals are?
That is okay. Part of therapy can be figuring that out together.
