Tina is a Registered Social Worker who works with adults, professionals, caregivers, teens, couples, and families who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or struggling to manage the ongoing demands of everyday life. Many of the people she supports are used to being the ones others rely on, often putting their own needs aside while balancing work, relationships, caregiving, and family responsibilities.
Her work focuses on supporting individuals who are experiencing anxiety, burnout, stress, or a growing sense of disconnection from themselves. Tina works with people carrying significant responsibility in their personal or professional lives, as well as families and couples navigating conflict, communication challenges, parenting concerns, preparing to become parents, infidelity, everyday relationship stressors, and major life transitions.
She also supports those working through workplace stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, identity or career uncertainty, and changes that can leave people feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next. These experiences may show up as constant worry, irritability, difficulty slowing down, struggles with boundaries, or feeling like there is never an opportunity to fully rest and recharge.
With more than 20 years of experience in child welfare, children’s mental health, and the violence against women sector—including extensive experience in senior leadership roles—Tina brings both clinical expertise and genuine real-world understanding to her work. She understands the emotional weight that can come with constantly caring for others, managing high levels of responsibility, and trying to meet everyone else’s needs while losing connection with your own.
Tina’s approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded. She believes therapy should feel supportive, genuine, and emotionally safe—a space where people can exhale, feel understood, and begin making changes at a pace that feels realistic and sustainable. Drawing from trauma-informed, strengths-based, cognitive behavioural, mindfulness-based, anti-oppressive, and person-centred approaches, she works alongside individuals, couples, and families to better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, navigate challenges with greater confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Support can make a meaningful difference when life begins to feel heavy, overwhelming, or difficult to manage alone. Tina strives to create a space where people feel safe, understood, and more connected to themselves while working toward greater balance, clarity, and well-being.
