Welcome

When life feels nonstop, it’s easy to push your own needs aside. You might be keeping everything moving while quietly carrying more than you should have to.

Therapy offers a place to pause, catch your breath, and make sense of what’s been sitting with you.

This is a calm, supportive space to explore your thoughts and experiences without judgment or pressure. The goal is for therapy to feel approachable — not overwhelming. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, this is a place to start where you are and move forward at a pace that feels right.
I’m Veronica Coburn,
Middlesex Therapy Centre was created with the intention of offering thoughtful, accessible therapy in a calm and welcoming setting. Located on the outskirts of London, close to Arva, 10 minutes from Ilderton and down Wonderland Road from Lucan, the practice was intentionally established away from the busyness of downtown.
The goal was to create a space that feels easier to get to, quieter, and more comfortable—especially for those who prefer to avoid city traffic and crowded areas.

Helping people has been a passion of mine from a young age. From the moment I began completing my high school volunteer hours, I sought out opportunities to be involved, support others, and learn how I could make a meaningful difference. That early immersion in volunteering shaped the path I would eventually take and continues to influence the way I approach my work today.

At the heart of Middlesex Therapy Centre is the belief that therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human. Care here is collaborative and grounded, with an emphasis on meeting people where they are rather than rushing toward solutions.
As the practice grows, the focus remains on maintaining a personal, connected feel while offering high-quality care. Whether you’re navigating change, feeling overwhelmed, or simply looking for space to reflect and reset, Middlesex Therapy Centre aims to be a place where therapy feels approachable and supportive.

A Personal Note
When I’m not in session, I’m spending time with my family - my two boys keep life busy and full of laughter. They remind me to slow down, stay curious, and appreciate the small moments that matter most. Seeing how important connection and understanding are in my own family is what inspires me to help other families navigate challenges and build stronger, more supportive relationships.
