Taylor
Cox

Taylor Cox is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who works with teens, young adults, and adults navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, stress, burnout, and life transitions. She is passionate about helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves, recognize their strengths, and build strategies that support their everyday lives.

Taylor has a particular focus on supporting individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and AuDHD. She understands that navigating a world that does not always accommodate neurodivergent needs can bring unique challenges, including difficulties with motivation, task initiation, organization, emotional regulation, and managing everyday responsibilities.

For some, this may look like procrastination, feeling constantly overwhelmed, struggling to follow through on tasks, or feeling frustrated with themselves despite their best efforts. For others, it may involve perfectionism, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling like they are falling behind. Taylor works collaboratively with clients to better understand these patterns, develop self-compassion, and find practical strategies that fit their individual needs.

Taylor also supports clients navigating general wellness and relational concerns, including anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, burnout, stress, and periods of change. She helps clients explore how their experiences and relationship patterns may be impacting their well-being, while developing greater self-awareness, healthier boundaries, and more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

Her approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Taylor creates a non-judgmental space where clients can feel comfortable exploring their experiences, better understand the patterns contributing to how they feel, and work toward meaningful changes that fit real life. She believes therapy should be a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make progress at their own pace.

Taylor draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based strategies, and solution-focused therapy. She tailors her approach to each client, recognizing that everyone’s experiences, strengths, and goals are unique.

Whether you are navigating ADHD, feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, experiencing burnout, or trying to understand patterns in your relationships, Taylor can help you make sense of what you are experiencing and develop strategies to move forward with greater self-understanding and confidence.
