Veronica Coburn

Veronica is a Registered Social Worker who works with teens, adults, and families who feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or like things just aren’t working the way they’re supposed to.

A large part of her work focuses on neurodivergence—including ADHD, autism, and learning differences. She supports individuals who have always felt “different,” are newly diagnosed, or are trying to better understand how their brain works. She also works closely with parents and families navigating a child’s diagnosis, shifting family dynamics, and the day-to-day realities that come with it. For couples, this often shows up as miscommunication, frustration, or feeling disconnected—especially when one or both partners have ADHD.

Veronica also supports women and couples through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. This stage can bring a mix of excitement, pressure, identity shifts, and emotional ups and downs that aren’t always talked about. Her approach offers a steady, non-judgmental space to sort through it all and feel more grounded.

She has a particular understanding of the demands placed on first responders and healthcare professionals—including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and hospital staff. Many of her clients in these roles are used to being the ones who handle everything, often pushing their own needs aside until burnout, stress, or disconnection start to build.

Across all areas, Veronica’s work is rooted in helping people understand themselves more clearly, improve their relationships, and feel more in control of their day-to-day lives. Her approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioural, mindfulness-based, and solution-focused approaches.

She holds a background in Disability Studies and Psychology, which informs her neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based lens. Veronica also offers direct billing to major insurance providers, helping make the process as simple and accessible as possible.
